Evan’s team wins the 2009 Fred Meyer Commissioners Cup
The game results were achieved with an incredible amount of team work; every player leveraged each other to ensure a strong win. The defense was impeccable and allowed only a few threatening shots on goal throughout the game; which were taken care of by Rowan Connolly.
The game started with a goal from Kellen Birdsall, a PK from Jacob Muttart, and another goal from Kellen which closed the first half with a 3-0 lead.
Evan’s team continued the march to victory in the second half with the team contributing to two spectacular goals from Dayton MacKay.
Finally, a goal from Bijan Kazemi, capped the score and closed the game at 6-0.
This game topped the whole season where we saw a team form and perform to achieve the ultimate. THE STATE CUP!!!!!!
