Congratulations to the Boys on the GRFC ’98 Blue team for their trip to the finals at this years Crossfire Challenge!!
Coach Hector reports that the guys played some good soccer on their way to the finals!! They posted the best goal differential in the tournament and allowed only 1 goal in pool play along with their 3 victories. They got down a goal to NWN Red in their first match and came back to win 3-1. They posted a 4-0 victory over Crossfire Black. In their last match they got a win over Evergreen Green to get them into the finals where they would again square off against NWN Red.
While they fell short of the Championship, Coach Hector is proud of this brand new group of players and how they're learning one another and how to play together as a team, win or lose!!
