G94 Red Continue Their Winning Ways!!
The GRFC 94 Red team pulled it together to bring home another trophy in only their second tournment. The GRFC girls lost to ESUFC Sunderland 0-1 in the last five minutes of play, then went on to win 1-0 against WSA Intrepid, and then had to shoot it out in PK’s to move to Finals against THUSC Sapphire 1-2. Finals had the team matched against ESUFC Reading. Both teams played hard and aggressive. GRFC 94 Red put the ball in the back of the net just before half and then went on to shut out ESUFC Reading to win the game 1-0.
