The GRFC 94 Blue gals played very well this past weekend in the first annual Adidas Cup.  Scoring 15 goals to nil in pool play and advancing to the final on the back of a 1-0 victory over HPFC in the semi, the girls played fantastic soccer against a very talented Eastside Red team.

 

In the Final, both teams battled hard and had GRFC abosrbing eaerly pressure by EFC. The GRFC ladies stayed poised and began to offer some threatening scoring chances on EFC as well.  After full time in regulation both teams lined up for Kicks From The Mark to determine a winner of the match.

 

GRFC makes 4 of 5 and Eastside makes all 5 to win a sprited final 1-0.
