A new session of Futsal begins, Sunday, October 23rd at Hazen High School. It runs Sundays through December 18 (no play on Thanksgiving weekend).
Futsal is a format of five-a-side soccer that is played extensively throughout the world. It is played on a pitch approximately the size of a basketball court with a ball smaller and heavier than the outdoor ball. The game places considerable demand on technique, movement, tactical awareness, and fitness. Futsal is a great skill developer, demanding quick reflexes, quick thinking, and pinpoint passing. Most of all, futsal is very exciting and FUN!
